My family loves celebrating Christmas and look forward to it every year, especially my little ones. And while they are still young, I am always looking for ways to create new family traditions they can grow up with that will create a lifetime of joyous memories for them.

We started the tradition of decorating gingerbread houses, and we’ve added advent calendars to our yearly Christmas family festivities, but this year one tradition I am really looking forward to is creating December 1st boxes for each person in our family.

I know this newly adapted tradition will make the month of December even more exciting for my family.Ā The December boxes will be given to each family member on the first day of December with Christmas-themed items and activities that will keep them occupied this holiday season, especially since the kids will be out of school and will be spending a great deal of time at home.
