If you are looking for a free activity to do with your kids this fall season, this fall scavenger hunt printable is just what you need.
Autumn, also known as Fall, is a beautiful season. So many amazing things happen in nature during this season; animals are migrating to warmer environments and storing food for the food shortage in winter. But most beautifully, the leaves change from green to yellow, brown, red, and orange.
If you are not intentional about the fall season, you can miss out on many fun and free family activities, especially if you have children.

I created this Fall and nature scavenger hunt for my kids, especially my daughter, who is a little reluctant to participate in nature activities these days. I wanted to encourage her to want to get out more.
We are surrounded by various parks where we live, and I thought it’d be interesting for us to take this scavenger hunt to a few parks to see how much faster we can find the items on the list.
And because you will probably be taking many walks with your family this Fall season, why not make it fun? That’s why I wanted to share this scavenger hunt with you.
The most important aspect of this scavenger hunt is that it encourages you to live in the moment. It includes things that are common during the fall season, but you wouldn’t necessarily be looking for these things on your normal everyday walk.
How to use the fall nature scavenger hunt
Using this fall outdoor scavenger hunt is super simple. Print a few copies and bring them along your family walk. Try to find the items on the list and check them off when you have identified them.
